Founded as an artisan workshop in Tuscany by David Berti in 1895, Coltellerie Berti is led today by his great grandson Andrea. For four generations the family has produced knives, passing down their artisanal methods from father to son. Family tradition also decrees that each knife is made entirely by hand and initialled by the one artisan. This unique technique, along with the choice of the finest materials and the rigorous testing of each piece, makes these knives true masterpieces of excellent quality and exquisite design.
